Installation Joomla! 5.x • PHP Version Troublel During Installation

I'm trying to install Joomla 5.1.2 on my Mac (Sonoma 14.5) using MAMP.
During the installation I received an error about my PHP version being out of date.
I installed a current version of PHP using "homebrew".
After installing and stopping/restarting the server I had the same error, so restarted the computer (not sure this was necessary) and still have the same problem.
