We have an internal department who wishes to use the Premium version of TinyMCE in Joomla due to them wanting to use some of the TinyMCE plugins that come with the paid version (PowerPaste being the main one).
From what i can gather reading the TinyMCE documentation, I need to be overriding the Joomla built-in TinyMCE and be initializing the cloud version instead.
It's been a while since i dabbled in any PHP/JS/HTML so was hoping someone had either already done something like this, or was able to point me in the right direction.
I did contact TinyMCE directly and they responded with this:
conceptually what you need to do is...
Ensure that the tinymce.js or tinymce.min.js file itself is loaded into the browser
Load the commercial plugins from our Cloud platform with a script tag like this: <script src="https://cdn.tiny.cloud/1/your-api-key/t ... ins.min.js" referrerpolicy="origin"></script>
Modify the configuration file that initializes TinyMCE to include PowerPaste in the plugins configuration option
